Basic interface Part1

This is a tutorial where i am gonna show you how to make a basic interface.


1. First create a new document 800 X 500



2. Chnage the backround to white. To do this go to Layer, New Fill Layer, Solid Color and set the color to "FFFFFF".

3. Next with the rounded rectangle tool draw a rectangle across the middle of the page like shown below.




4. Next go to the shapes blengin options and add the following. ( Select any two brownish colors for the gradiant. )




5. Next ( using the shape i have attached ) shink it to your desired size using crtl - t and place in the middle of the top recangle's line.




6. Copy the rectanlge and cut the bottom leaving about a 1/2 inch at the top and add a simple yellow gradient.



7. Next using your text tool add some nice text to the left side of the emblem.




There you go a basic Interface. Part 2 will go into more detail on differnt stuff you can add to make it look more professional!
